Shutter Hub Yearbook Exhibition

We are excited to feature in Shutter Hub Yearbook Exhibition with an image from our forthcoming publication Fun and Games.

Fun & Games in collaboration with @irvin.funfairs is something me and Jack Martyn Richardson have been working on since 2022. Through photography, video, and personal narratives, this collaborative work captures the nostalgia, history, and the social significance of London's travelling funfairs, which are in decline. By exploring various sites and working with the Irvin family who have been involved in fairs since the 19th century, the project highlights the deep historical roots and social impact of funfairs as essential cultural markers in the city’s changing landscape.
