Warsaw Art Book Fair - Warszawskie Targi Ksiazki Artystycznej #2 by Paulina Korobkiewicz

Disco Polo photobook participated in the 2nd edition of Warsaw Art Book Fair. It was shown in this year's selection of the most interesting self-publishing (as part of a large collective stand).

Warsaw Art Book Fair is an event dedicated to art books and publications bringing together knowledge from different fields of visual culture. It is an initiative of the Bookoff art bookstore and Polish printed design promotion platform Print Control. Partner of the Fair is the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. 

Istanbul Photobook Festival 2016 by Paulina Korobkiewicz

My publications are a part of Instanbul Photobook Festival 2016, thanks to a collaborative curatorial project of FRESH FROM POLAND and PAPER BEATS ROCK. Project aims to present and popularize up-and-coming topic of Polish photography. It showcases the most interesting photobooks and independent photographic publications from recent years collected through months of research, workshops and submissions. 

Istanbul Photobook Festival, Turkey’s first photobook festival, is held for two days with a schedule that consists of seminars, discussions, and face-to-face photobook evaluations with international photobook designers, photobook curators, self-publishing photographers, and publishing house owners.

FRESH FROM POLAND & HEKLA STUDIO – DISTORTION at Krakow Photo Fringe 2016 by Paulina Korobkiewicz

May 12 – June 27, 2016

At this year's edition of Krakow Photo FringeFresh From Poland and Hekla Studio launched the FFP Zine #1: DISTORTION and created accompanying exhibition of the three of the artists featured in the publication: Paulina KorobkiewiczErnest Protasiewicz and Ernest Winczyk.

FFP Zine #1 DISTORTION by Paulina Korobkiewicz

FFP #1 Zine DISTORTION Launch & Signing at Super Salon

DISTORTION is the first publication emerged out of the collaboration between Fresh From Poland and Monika Proniewska and Paulina Oknińska from Studio Hekla, who were responsible for the design of the project. The zine includes selected photographs of contemporary Polish artists, that are related to the theme of distortion of the reality in photography.

Zine is printed in limited edition of 100; 48 pages, soft cover.

I am really pleased to be the winner of this year's Camberwell Book Prize. Set up by the Camberwell College of Arts Photography department in collaboration with Camberwell Press, the Book Prize has been designed to help BA Photography graduates reach an extended audience with their work.

Creative Review and JCDecaux Talent Spotting Showcase 2015 by Paulina Korobkiewicz

I am honoured to have been selected for Creative Review & JCDecaux Talent Spotting Showcase 2015. The project was set up in association with Creative Translation to present the work of 20 graduates on JCDecaux screens all over the UK.


'Creative Review has teamed up with JCDecaux to showcase graduate art and design talent across digital screens UK-wide, running in rail stations, malls and supermarkets from August 3 to 30, 2015.
For our Talent Spotting project, in association with Creative Translation, we have selected work from 20 graduates to appear on the screens, including illustration, photography and animation.'
