Contemporary Lynx Magazine 1(5)2016

'On the Absurd, Architecture, Living Rooms, and a Soviet symbol', written by Magdalena Nieduzak.

My project Disco Polo got into the third issue of Contemporary Lynx. This issue deals with the aesthetics of Eastern Europe during the 90s and so provides the reader with an exciting opportunity to analyse the relations of art, pop culture and everyday life of that decade in connection to the things happening here and now.

Magazine is available in selected Empik stores across Poland, it will be presented at following events: Art Brussels(April), opening of Museum Jerke in Recklinghausen (April), Lynx’s panel discussion at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London (May), Miesiąc Fotografii w Krakowie / Krakow Photomonth Festival (May), Ogólnopolska Konferencja Naukowa "Manipulacja w fotografii" (May), LISTE - The Young Art Fair in Basel (June), Fotofestiwal Lodz in Łódź (June) and an official magazine launch at Calvert 22 Gallery in London (June).
